Polished Imperial Jasper

Drilling a hole to aid with wire wrapping or adding a simple bale to the stone is always an option. You may also be able to wrap it without doing so, depending on the style of wrap you're doing.

Of course, another option is to do a knotted leather (or linen / hemp) cord wrap like the one I did for the fossilized shell in the attached picture.

The great thing about jewelry making is you have unlimited possibilities in how to display your stones.

I did them for the bead cage, but maybe an attachment for a necklace. I do not remember the name of the attachment, but it is just glued on with E6000.

Do you think it possible to drill a hole and then a wire wrap can be done?

Do you think these are best in a bead cage or maybe wire wrapped?

Thanks for sharing! The blue and white is really quite striking.

Some Imperial Jaspers I polished when at the equipment club house on Sunday, 18 July 2021.

Considering their size they are shinier than the photo shows.
